Finally I got the chance to have first test of the board.

steady 20-26 kts (with stronger gusts)
side/side off - about flat water or small (wind) chop

Evo 7 7.0 (flx100 460) - Z sl 36

Just to have a better idea the board is + - long as other of the same size, 71cm wide, o.f.o. 44.5cm the hull and about 48.5 or so in the deck. Rails are full and you easily stand on the board if need to slog to the wind or ashore. The mast track deck recess is not as deep as my former Isonic 107 2011.

When I first got in the water the wind wasn't completely filled in and was quite gusty. Plus it needed to slog a bit to reach the wind zone. No problem for that as there's all the volume (well placed) needed. As the gust hits your sail the 71 suddenly reacts and keeps going. It's smooth. As I'm used to the Mistral, which is heavier and have a softer hull design (concaves,bevels), the Jp seemed more sporty. Liked the quick acceleration from low speed to high speed. Despite the strong wind it stayed stable in the water. Never wheeling, bouncing, twisting, rolling. It's a smooth safe ride.
Gybes were very good. It follows the rider inputs easily.
Off course I need to test it more (expecially with the 7.. If I now should say more I feel it looks like a real racing machine that has all the resourses needed while racing as you have power but with a steady ride. Just push and go.

Je viens testé cette belle JP 71 dans des conditions de mer bien agitées ( j'étais le seul en slalom) le reste des planchistes étaient tous en freewave. 20 25 Kts de vent je suis parti avec 7m karace et 36 ERD.
Vu le plan d'eau la jp s'est montrée hyper stable aussi bien au près qu'au largue, plus difficile au travers vu le plan d'eau (71 de large). Elle navigue avec très peu de surface mouillée et ne demande qu'a accélérer lorsqu'on reste bordé.Par la suite le plan d'eau s'est adoucie et la jp a montrée tout son potentiel. On retrouve les accélérations de la falcon avec toujours une stabilité exemplaire. Entraxe de 42 cm, pied de mat à 132. Pour faire simple cette JP est plutôt plug and play ce qui est bon signe, elle reste saine en toutes circonstances... Saine dans le clapot et extrêmement rapide..Un concave devant le boitier d'aileron induit cet effet de coussin d'air. A mon avis JP revient en force.
