Ça c'est intéressant, 21.5 nœuds de moyenne et l'aileron est tout de même privilégié. Il doit sûrement y avoir des passages infaisables en foil alors ?!

Je me suis dit clairement qu'il fallait le faire en aileron ce parcours. Par contre oui sans avoir pensé Foil, sur ce type de parcours ( si c'est bien un tour d'Ile ), la question se pose vraiment.
Ca va être interessant d'avoir des réponses à cette question.

Comme tu le dis soit certain passage ne sont pas faisable en Foil, soit il y avait une obligation de courir en aileron !

“This was the hardest day I had on a windsurf. Long first reach, under the bridge I was fighting with myself and Jordy for second place on the slalom board, Kevin was leading. When we startes going full downwind I tried to keep up with Kevin, but I was with a super high heart rate, so I jibed to give a break to my back leg which had no more blood., fell in twice, head no more energy, gave my full breakfast to the fish, sat on the board for at 20 30 minutes trying to recover energy... Than I tried again slowly to finish the rest of the race. Top heart rate 202, avarage heart rate for 2.50h 168....70km. 7.8 acone, 44 fin, big board. On the slalom it was a real experience this first race. Hopefully that is it for the day.. But its still early!”

Ok donc on est très clairement sur un duel de support : slalom light wind avec petite voile VS foil dans je penses 20-25 noeuds (vu le message...) avec une bonne partie de près et de la VMG vent arrière. C'est très ouvert !

S'ils ont fait le tour d'une ïle, il y a du avoir effectivement du près, du travers et du largue. Et maintenir une moyenne au-dessus de 20 noeuds dans ces conditions-là, c'est costaud !!! vivement qu'on ait des images !

Premier bord au travers = Ailerons (Kevin 1er, Cucchi,...) devant.
Ensuite Vent arrière ou gros downwind = Foils devant.
Puis gros près = Foils devant

Au final les Foils sont loin, loin devant.

Mais loin...
