If you check GPSTC site you're going to notice super high speed scores clocked using the Tribal Weed Speed. The 33 used with the big M° 137 is close to low 39, the 27 used with the M° 112 signed 40, smaller sizes are even faster
I personally use the Lockwood designed fins since 2016 (only "pointers" and never a weed's)
It's always very hard to describe fin feeling as it's due by our personal ability and perception but my experience is crazy good. Before orderind the first batch (at that time not yet named Tribal) Chris said me I wouldn't have noticed "anything special" when i would have sailed them (more or less he was right?). BUT, i would have changed my mind in case i would have been back later on a different fin! Well, he was absolutely right!
Waiting to test my new Tribal mk2 37/36, the "old" previous design named CL2 is very efficient, comfy, fast and super easy to push in any condition. Finally back leg never burns and the board lift is always balanced. Note that they are not "soft flex" and to lift the board nose up they rely both on thickness and leading edge curve. Thin and tiny tip make for the balance at high revs.
