a bit scary to enter the vulcan with so much speed. easier? but if you fall it is a big bash! i use to try it but i slow it to be just planning. but maybe it is a mistake.... |

You definitely don't have to as fast as I am going in the video! Speed will help you connect the Vulcan with the sliding spin, but it's ok to slow down a little bit, and even go slightly upwind before the take off if you're really powered up, and focus on using perfect technique. Using the switch upwind 360 trick I included in the end of the video is a great way to do the spock at a much slower speed. It's possible to finish the last part of the rotation without even being planing! |
