Hi everyone, many manufacturers have already released their new sails. I know that Patrik is planning to release a new foil sail.

Has anyone tested it yet? What does it feel like, what's different?

I'm considering switching from Hyperglide 5 to Patrik.

Bonjour à tous, de nombreux fabricants ont déjà sorti leurs nouvelles voiles. Je sais que Patrik prévoit de sortir une nouvelle voile à foil.

Quelqu'un l'a-t-il déjà testée ? Quelles sont les sensations ? Quelles sont les différences ?

J'envisage de passer de l'Hyperglide 5 à la Patrik.

Hi,

I’ve tested prototypes throughout the year, as well as the final version.

The biggest improvement we focused on is stability, especially in the higher wind range.

The main evolutions are:
• Better stability in gusts, with a very stable power / locked-in power, only acceleration, which improves the high-wind range
• Maintaining the same low-end performance, which was already one of the HA’s strengths

The new version gives you an autopilot feeling, where the sail remains stable and neutral whatever the wind conditions, whether in gusts or holes.

To achieve this, the main changes were made in the construction, with only small adjustments to the outline and shape.

Some sizes feature only minor changes (8.0 and above), while there are more noticeable updates from 7.4 to 5.0, and a completely new outline and shape for the 4.4.

The first production sails will arrive around mid-April.
