j'ai entendu dire que certaines manta avaient du mal à partir au planning, qu'en pensez-vous? quels sont ces modèles et comment peut-on y palier? A+ |

quels sont ces modèles et comment peut-on y palier? A+ Je te parlerais de la 69 : c'est pas un planning actif, faut être tonique et pomper si tu t'assois dans le harnais et que tu attends que ça parte...c'est pas ça. |

C'est pas leurs points forts... C'est meme ce que je leur reproche, c'est court, ca pousse de l'eau. Faut pomper pour décoller sinon on reste scotché. |

La 79 08' est une "petite" planche qui donne le meilleur en 8.5. Elle est quasi imbattable dans ces conditions là. Un gros sac qui mettrait 9.5 dessus serait déçu |

I've sailed and raced with the 79 since mid june until late november. I'm around 80 kg and sailed it with the Vapor 2008 9,0 (as adviced me by Cedric...) and sometimes with the RSR 7,8. Tuned it with a Hurricane sr2 46 (very nice and fast fin). In very light wind (8-13) I used to give up with 85 cm wide boards.No way for me to good accellerate (even if the board keeps planning very well).It's due by the deep double concaves which are designed more for rough condition than flat water. As Vincent says,in 13-20 the board is super (both with 9,0 and 8,4).Very smooth feeling (after having found the right boom height and footstraps position),good speed,great control in almost every condition,and one of the best gyber in the market.Tested while training and racing agaist 133,xxl,xl,124,M 125.If I was ahead or behind it wasn't for the board. Sailed couple of times also over 20 with the 7,8.Yes,the board has no pb with that and you feel it can rides easy but the speed is not there as if you were with a smaller board (me and Cedric were of the same advice that you have to jump down to 69/7,8). Now I've sailed the new 133 just once and in veeeery light air it seemed a bit more comfortable but,please,note that I'm not a light wind killer.... My 79 is on sale at very good price and it's like new!!!Photo available on demand and I send it everywhere. |
