Got a new 4 mm rope (not the original Liros 4.2 and not 8 but 16 grins), mantained the whole system (washing, cleaning, oiling everything) and rigged some racing sail using my old (but almost new) North power xt V1.
Despite the original short ratchet and 4:1 i susseeded in fully crancking the DH (lot of tension on the rope and i was scared it was going to explode at some point).
What i couldn't succeed in was releasing tension using the ratchet (even pulling the super tensioned rope with the finger).
Searching on the net there's a Duotone video in which they talk about this issue (coming from a bent pin).
I did go check my ratchet and the V1 has no metallic pin at all.
Is it possible the V1 can't handle the big amount of tension on the rope?
Wanting update/grade my system, is the V2 ratchet compatible with the V1 mechanics?

p.s. do you find the printed numbers correct in terms of amount of extra length?
