Le message de Bill Kline, le boss d Curtis, à propos du Talon...
I would be curious if anyone out there has one of our Gsport SR-6b slalom fins and a Talon. It would be interesting to lay them on top of each other and see. It looks very close, not sure if same. From the comments, it sounds very similar on the water.
We also have a design, not yet released, previously very successful at 66 to 70 cm. The root design was done about five yrs ago. I am now testing the slalom section not yet released. About a month ago I handed the molded Gsport SR-8 42 for a friend to try. He came back with his Tomcat. I was shocked when I saw the outlines were identical. The foil on the SR-8 42 is different than on the Tomcat.
The Gsport SR-7 Slalom 2010 is the race ascendant of the Gsport Freespeed (previously marketed as GFC Race Blade and the molded carbon Calibash). Leading edges curves from base are almost identical to the Falcon although tip is sheared elliptical. Foils are different
In summary in the Gsport line: SR-6b would likely be used in Talon range discussed here, SR-7 in Falcon range, SR-8 in Tomcat range. R&D: The SR-9 and 10 are being tested in carbon molded designs. Shapes and foils may vary from brand to brand.

Attention, l'aileron Curtis est un 42, faudrait mettre un 42 Talon à côté, pour voir. En tout cas, le boss de Curtis à l'air un peu "bouillant"...
