Thanks for your comment Davide. That's a great encouragement for innovation, research and development. Without trying or even seeing the lines.
I don't believe that a design like ours has ever existed and nothing similar exists nowadays : rigid as it it, with the rope going over the boom to be the only element to take the strain, with no fabric and no stitching.
Lines have already existed with plastic parts in the 90's? Great so why should we develop new ones, with no common point, to meet foiling requirements, that did not exist in the 90's. And after all why should we develop the LISA booms, carbon booms also exist for decades. Same for all our LISA products. Sorry if you don't see the innovations we propose in our stuff.
And about price (don't know where you found the 99€ price BTW, we have sold cheaper for the time being) ... Yes it is only plastic parts and rope (and screws, and plastic tubes, and knurled screws, and clamcleats, and hours of development, testing and production, all this in France and not in China). But do you know the price of all this?
And after all a board is no more than foam and a thin layer of carbon, a sail is no more than plastic and stitching etc etc
Windsurfing is now a very small market, I will be happy if 100 people buy the lines and enjoy it. But if it is to earn 3€ per line I let you do better than me.
Cheers
Nico
