Je vais préciser que je ne cherche pas à avoir raison donc merci pour les informations supplémentaire ssur la présence de GA Sails. J'ai regardé encore des vidéos de PWA ce week-end et cela ne m'a pas sauté aux yeux que cette présence de GA. Donc merci de rétablir la vérité.

PRIEN ok n'est pas le meilleur mais il fait un super boulot pour la marque sur les réseaux, que l'on aime ou pas, cela compte au delà du sportif. N'oublions pas que PRIEN peut faire quelques coups d'éclats comme à Fuerte ou il remporte une des deux longues distances lancées cet été pendant la PWA ! (et j'avais mis de coté MAQUAERT che PRYDE un solide top 10 )

Je suis donc d'accord que NEILPRYDE aurait tout intérêt à mettre Pierre aux avants post je l'ai mis plus en hypothese. Cela ferait un retour pour Pierre sur un sponsor lointain comme si Iachino allait chez Point-7 !

Un Robby swift en moins ça paye un potentiel champion du monde, d autant que pierre était super content de ses pryde et que NP s'est plié en 4 pour qu'il ait du matos à Ténérife. Donc perso je pense que pierre va rester chez NP

Vincent Langer recently became the Brand Manager of North Windsurfing - we caught up with the 25-time German National champion to find out more about his new role and what’s on the horizon for North Windsurfing

Vincent Langer (North Windsurfing) has enjoyed an extremely successful career as a top racer - winning three world titles, five European titles and 25 German National titles along the way. The 39-year-old isn’t officially hanging up his harness yet, but after landing a new role with North Windsurfing, Langer’s focus has shifted now. We recently managed to catch up with Vincent to find out more about his new role, what’s in the pipeline for North Windsurfing as well as a couple of high profile signings, which remain under wraps for now…

Hey Vincent, congrats on your new role with North - can you tell us a little bit more about your new position?

"Most people in the watersports scene know me because of my racing background. I won my first PWA slalom heat in Hvide Sande in 2016 and finished second in Sylt in 2017. I stepped back from the international tour a few years ago and since then focused more on national events.

What many people don’t know is that I hold two Master’s degrees — one in Sports Science and one in Management. Alongside my sporting career, I worked as a consultant, which gave me a strong understanding of the business world as well.

With my new management role at North Windsurfing, I now have the opportunity to combine both of these worlds. And I can say this clearly: we are aiming high."

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think “North Windsurfing” was created in 2022, but aside from the Wave scene there’s been a slow introduction on to the World Tour scene in other disciplines… it sounds like that’s about to change though - please could you tell us a little bit about North’s new plans and the updated structure of the company?

"That’s exactly right — and this is why I was brought in to drive that change. Our wave sails are already performing at an incredibly high level, and the same is true for our freeride sails. This season, we will clearly demonstrate that the famous North racing DNA is back and fully alive.

Together with the existing team at North, with Pieter Bijl, and backed by the full power of the North Action Sports Group, we are probably the only brand that is truly innovating — not only in terms of team and athletes, but also across product development, technology, and events."

What made now the ‘right’ time to try and build more momentum around the brand ?

"As a world-leading brand in sailing, performing at the highest level across multiple watersports, it was a natural ambition for North to also bring windsurfing back into a strong position. With changes in leadership at group level, windsurfing moved back into clear focus — and that’s exactly where we are now."

There is a rumour, that you have already made a couple of very high profile signings, which is a clear statement of intent - how excited are you and the Team about capturing two of the biggest names in the sport?

"Our intent is clear. We want to be back on the racing course, winning events and titles. While the new signings for North are still under wraps, I can say that I couldn’t wish for more passionate or more professional athletes. We’ve already been working closely with both of them for some time on our new sails, making sure they have exactly what they need to perform at the highest level and fight for victories.

With our deep know-how from yacht sailing and advanced technologies that no one else brings to the windsurfing market, we are confident that our equipment will be truly outstanding."

Do you and the Team have specific goals for the season ahead?

"We want to perform at the highest level of racing in the PWA. At the same time, we are chasing speed records in both fin and foil disciplines. We will compete with our top riders at IFCA events, and with our newly built national team, we will also be strongly present on the national racing scene. Germany, Italy, Holland, Baltic… people will see us."

You yourself are a top racer… do you think you’ll be competing at any events in 2026?

"Obviously, my focus has shifted now, but I will definitely still compete in selected events. Windsurfing is my passion, so I’ll continue to spend time on the water — supporting testing when needed and, of course, simply enjoying the best sport in the world."

Les mecs capables de gagner le titre dans les 2 disciplines; il n'y en a pas 50, il y en a 2: Iachino et Mortefon, et effectivement, les 2 sont sur le marché. Je vois vraiment PM rester chez NP, donc Iachino chez North?



Pourquoi, le fer de lance de leur team pour le moment est Français (Antoine Martin)

L'autre problème des North a part les perfs discutables parait il (vu sur les compet IFCA ou il y a 2-3 coureurs qui en ont) c'est l'impossibilité de sticker les voiles y compris avec de numéros : ça la fout mal

Je sens, mais c'est juste un feeling, que Iachino va rouler pour l'Italie niveau voile (Giu a dit de mémoire qu'un grand champion allait rouler pour l'italie )

Donc de mon coté je penche pour la reconstitution partiel ou total du TEAM Phantom chez NORTH, cela serait un coup de maitre !

Si tel est le cas, les prochaines saisons vont être superbes, voir la fight TEAM PATRIK (Si SOE reste) X TEAM NORTH dans les années à venir ça peut etre sympa !

Nous n'avons pas parlé de SOE car je pense que nous le voyons tous rester chez PATRIK .... Après SOE / GOYARD / MORTEFON chez NORTH la tu es sur de tout rafler en Slalom X et FOil Slalom

Mes excuses j'ai un biais slalom X /Foil Slalom dans mes réflexions, je suis incapable d’associer un sponsor voile / planche à un rider vague / freestyle ! Cela a du s’arrêter à peu près à la période Josh STONE, à la période du spock Je savais a peu près qui avait quoi en matos après finito.

Autant vous dire que niveau logorrhée vous allez être tranquille sur cette partie du mercato

Tu as vraiment une mémoire de moineau: tu affirmes que tu bloques mes posts pour ne pas les lire, mais tu reprends le mot logorrhée que j'ai utilisé à ton endroit dans cette discussion et qui, vu ton niveau d'expression écrite habituel, ne faisait visiblement pas partie de ton vocabulaire jusqu'à ce que tu lises mon commentaire. Tu vas parler de coïncidence, mais ça va faire rigoler tout le monde. Quel charlot!

Ce système se base sur une liste exhaustive de plus de 1000 mots ou expressions (avec variations féminin/pluriel).

Le mot « charlot » et l’expression « mémoire de moineau » (celle-là, je n’aurais pas parié sur sa présence) font bien sûr partie de cette liste. Je tiens à vous dire que votre vocabulaire vous honore et qu’il semble etre à la hauteur de votre esprit.

Le mot « logorrhée » fait également partie de l’ensemble des mots considérés comme "insultants", car il est fréquemment utilisé sur les forums comme une pique rhétorique pseudo-intello « je-sais-tout » et constitue clairement une attaque ad hominem.

Je vous prie donc d’essayer de vous comporter normalement pour la suite. Vous verrez, tout se passera très bien.

On va laisser Windrider34 à ses explications vaseuses que pas une seule personne douée de raison ne croira une seule seconde, et revenir au sujet: le mercato 2026.
Starboard vient d'annoncer la composition de son team international pour la saison à venir, qui comprend évidemment Matteo Iachino et Sarah-Quita Offringa (laquelle est bien entendu, toujours sponsorisée à la fois par Starboard et par Neil Pryde).
Fabian Wolf, qui était jusqu'à présent dans l'équipe allemande de Starboard, est promu à l'échelon supérieur, eu égard à ses excellents résultats en PWA et à son titre de champion du monde de Formula Windsurfing.
Voici donc la liste complète des coureurs sponsorisés par Starboard en 2026;
