Dan Ellis GBR-52:
Weight: 95-98kg, height: 6”3
Style of sailing: I like to sail really powered up and put allot of pressure though the fin. I like to feel the fin under the board a little and used my weight and strength to drive it thought the water. I currently don’t have a fin sponsor so can use what ever I think suits the conditions and type of sailing. As a general rule I find the Deboichetsc work best in the big boards and sizes over 34. With the 89 and 79 I find the Vector Rocket has the most control and ease of use, on the 89 and in very choppy conditions (like Fuerte) it’s good sometimes to use a bigger fin like the Deb SL234 as it lifts the board out of the water and over the chop. The fastest fins are the Tectonics Falcon but it doesn’t go upwind, this is the fin I use for speed.
