I have been using a mechanical mast-foot for a while when foiling, and so have my friends. No issues so far. Since there is no shock absorption (contrary to a tendon), I have glued a thin piece of neoprene under the mast-foot to avoid damaging the deck of the board around the mast-foot box. I would not want to use anything else with my foiling board.

Nav du jour 3/4° ...8 à 15 N que je n 'ai jamais senti.....100m de vol pour le dernier bord avec le biplan et l ' ECO.....EPUISANT et tuant engoncé dans la combo sèche , surtout au niveau du coup....très gênant furtout pour surveiller les" pôvres" risées et pomper.....M'enfin 1 belle journée avec les hérons blancs et les grues comme compagnie.
Retour sur le biplan.....bein sais pas trop.....n'ayant pas lhabitude du Horue...mais ça a l 'air de tenir en vol à vitesse lente de manière sympathique(6.8 Duotone).
Bilan: mieux que sur le canapé , l'année est lancée.

et cardan Chinook ou Nautix... Chinook très solide mais le dernier avait la rondelle de friction inox soudée avec la carotte....rondelle pliée après 1 catapulte ce qui empêchait le verrouillage sur certaine rallonge et j'ai eu du lal à trouver 1 Rondelle avec la carotte.Le Nautix est bcp moins cher mais le cardan semble moins solide et bruit de grincement.
Il existe aussi avec plaquette séparée du cardan ce qui donne 2 manières de désolidariser le gréement...pratique avec le foil.
